The Laogai Museum, the only museum in the United States solely dedicated to promoting human rights and exposing Communist Party persecution in the People’s Republic of China, is moving to a new location within the historic DuPont Circle neighborhood. The new location of the Museum will be at 1901 18th Street NW, Washington, DC 20009. The Museum will be closed during the course of the move from August 1st until September 1st.

We cordially invite you to visit the Museum for our official reopening on September 1, 2015. Details regarding the reopening ceremony and planned Museum exhibits will follow in subsequent announcements.
