According to a recently published Reuter’s article, the Chinese government has labeled their internationally criticized policies in Tibet as “correct.” This Bureaucratic and and indifferent response signals little real change on the horizon for Tibet. Harry Wu gives a lecture to a group of American University law students on his recent article, “A Jail by Any Other Name: Contextualizing Labor Camp Reform in China.” The article, which was co-authored by Laogai Research Foundation employee Cole Goodrich, will be published in an upcoming edition of American University’s law journal.
